Coucou! I’m Kimberly. An American who moved from California to the South of France and started seeing life a little differently. I created coucou because I wanted to help other people navigate a major life change like moving abroad or leaving a career. Somewhere along the way, I also started wondering if the life I was working so hard to build was actually the life I wanted.
France didn’t magically have all the answers. But living here gave me a different perspective on everything from work, motherhood, success, relationships and what it actually means to enjoy your life while you’re living it.
Coucou is where I explore those questions through honest conversations, personal stories, and all the little things I notice about life in France.
Because sometimes you don’t need to completely change your life.
You just need to see it differently.

About Kimberly
I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin. Since then, I lived in Seville, Spain, Boston, New York City, San Francisco and now Aix-en-Provence, France.
I spent two decades building some of the world’s most recognizable consumer brands. I started my career at Kraft Foods, went on to lead brand development at Bath & Body Works and Victoria’s Secret, and later became a Marketing Executive at Sephora. I earned my MBA from Harvard Business School and founded Clear the Fog, a brand consultancy helping companies clarify what they stand for and the direction they’re heading.
For the past three years, I’ve been living in the South of France with my husband and two children. I love writing and supporting other women in building lives rooted in clarity, purpose, and joy. I now prefer croissants to conference calls and helping women trade their “shoulds” for something that actually feels right.
